  Summer Intensive Course 2018





 This course makes use of the summer vacation to give you a five week intensive
 Japanese language lesson. 
  
 The course consists of classes for learners of different levels (elementary to
 intermediate) . 
 Each class meets 5 times a week, Monday through Friday.

 The course aims to enhance the students' ability to communicate in daily life at
 work or home.



◇ PERIOD :  July 19 - August 23, 2018  ( no class from August 13 to15)


◇ CLASS :   Elementary T, Elementary U, Intermediate T

                          
◇ DAY :     Monday - Friday


◇ TIME :    Elementary T, Elementary U, Intermediate T

              9:30 am - 12:30 pm

         Elementary T'  

              1:30 - 4:30 pm


◇ FEES :   Enrollment   8,000 yen

          Tuition    70,000 yen  ( plus additional textbook fees )

          *The consumption tax (8%) is included.


◇ APPLICATION PERIOD :  June 1 - July 12

         *Applications will be closed when class become full.


◇ APPLICATION :  Apply at the school office with the enrollment fee.

     "First Step Japanese″June 18 - July 11, 2018
         − A Japanese language course for beginners -                       
                                       
      This course is a short-term course designed for beginners which we
      have developed to suit the needs of those who want to start learning
      immediately and want to learn how to read and write Hiragana & Katakana
      before starting the Summer Intensive Course.

     [Notes]

      1. A class will be opened when the number of applicants reaches 4.

      2. Students are placed in appropriate level class according to results
        of the placement test.

      3. Fees are non-refundable and shoud be paid at the school office
        by July 12. 

      4. Late applicants may be admitted after the class started with permission
        by the school office and instructors.





  




 EXPLANATION OF CLASSES



 ◇ Elementary T & T'
  

   For those who have little knowledge of Japanese grammar.

 Goals 1  to be able to read and write Hiragana and Katakana correctly.

2  to master conjugated forms of verbs and adjectives.

3  to acquire a solid foundation of Japanese sentence patterns.

4  to be able to use as many as 750850 words.

    * We offer a First Step Japanese Course in June for those who have no
      or a little experience of studying Japanese. For more information



 ◇ Elementary U
   

 For those who can carry on simple conversations in Japanese, and who
 are well trained to use conjugated forms.


 Goals: 1  to be able to use various sentence patterns and expressions
         accurately.

       2  to be able to write 100 Kanji and read 150 Kanji.
       3  to be able to use as many as 1,200 - 1,300 words.



 ◇ Intermediate T

 For those who can carry on daily conversations, but who are unable to make
 good use of the grammar covered in ELEMENTARY
T&U.  

 Students should be able to recognize 150 Kanji before starting this course.

 Goals 1  to review the sentence patterns covered in elementary courses,
         and develop grammatical understanding .

       2  to be able to use situational expressions accurately and properly.
       3  to learn the functions of demonstrative pronouns and particles,
         giving & receiving verbs, and so on.

       4  to be able to write 200 Kanji and read 300 Kanji.
       5  to be able to use as many as 1,700 - 1,800 words.

 PLACEMENT TEST



 ◇ Placement test

    ・ Placement test is free of charge.
    ・ There is no need to take a placement test for beginners.
    ・ Placement test contains a writing test and interview test.


 ◇ Test hours

    Monday - Friday  1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

    * Should the test hours be unsuitable for you, please consult
     the school office and make an appointment in advance.



 STUDENT ENROLLMENT BY COUNTRY



  Students from 19 different countries and regions enrolled in the Summer
  Intensive Course 2016 and studied Japanese together for 5 weeks from
  July to August.
